Cleon Peterson
Cleon Peterson is one of those legendary street artists who has moved on to other art forms. Although, as you can see, he also remains attracted to meter-high walls. The American is visibly influenced by Greco-Roman art. And, just like a few millennia ago, he often seeks refuge in violence and sex. However, Peterson draws equally on Caravaggio and Goya, as well as on what he calls one-sided, heroic media coverage of geopolitical and social conflicts. His work for The Crystal Ship came about with the help of Belgian street artists Kitsuné and Lobster.
