Erin Holly often bases her work on historical figures who have fought for a better world and turns these into a poetic scene. She created a subtle, expressionist work of art in a quiet Ostend district. She enhanced it with flowers, colours and abstract shapes. The work is based on a picture by Léonie La Fontaine, the Belgian pioneer in the fight for feminism and pacifism.
