Johannes Mundinger
Johannes Mundinger blends the environment with his work to create an exceptional canvas in the city. He painted an impressionistic work of art full of colours on the ‘Vissersplein’. As is typical for abstract art, this work has no real meaning.
David Walker
He grew up with the typical black and white graphics but truly made his mark when he let vivid colours seep into his work. He drips the paint and embraces both the photorealistic and the abstract to create impressive portraits of women. Fun fact: In his first job Walker designed t-shirts for none other than The Prodigy.
Contrary to his habit, David Walker did not paint a realistic portrait. Instead, he opted for the silhouette of a man conveying the message “A blank canvas is a white flag”. To leave a canvas blank is to surrender, but the moment you start to paint, you challenge the establishment.
