Katie Green
Katie Green enjoys working with people who are still too often pushed to the side. In Ostend, the Canadian artist therefore joined forces with the social-artistic project Spinaas. Green had people with mental disabilities make a mask in papier-mâché, asked them to project their emotions onto it and, in the end, she took William’s design to the James Ensor House to photograph it. The reason? William is a big fan of James Ensor and the mask reminds him of the legendary painter.
