Slim Safont
Slim Safont has not been doing street art for very long. Having said that, he has already been making waves in Europe. And rightly so, because his meters-high paintings – influenced by the work of masters such as Joaquín Sorolla and Anders Zorn – are gems. Time and again, the Spaniard draws a kind of tranche de vie that speaks to the imagination and, in this case, also wants to break with the macho culture among adolescents. The work overlooks a playground, and for Slim Safont, it is clear that boys are also allowed to show emotions and seek comfort from each other.
