Pref is what you’d call a wordsmith. Even if it’s not in the most traditional sense of the, well, word. This British street artist is in love with language, typography and 3D design, and he manages to combine these three loves in his artwork, hiding entire sentences in a single word. Not many artists can match Pref’s ability to give you a fresh perspective on words, and this has allowed him to build up an impressive international body of work. In Ostend he set to work, rather appropriately, with the word ‘drifting’.
